The route whe sail is as follows:
After about 2 days sailing in Sardinia we make a short crossing to the first place at Corsica. Then we spent about 1 week in Corse after we slowly sail back through the Maddalena Archipelago by Sardinia to Portisco.

Bonifacio is a unique experience, it is wonderful to enter with your own yacht between the cliffs deep natural fjord. After a few days of anchorages for the night you arrive here in the hectic town with many tourists and luxury mega yachts.
Along the quayside cafes, restaurants and shops await you. The old fortified town with narrow alleys is located at a fifteen minute walk and provides many photo opportunities.

About 1 hour sailing by boat from Bonifacio you will find the Lavezzi islands, a beautiful nature reserve area of Corse where you can anchor amongst huge eroded rocks to enjoy a lunch and swim stop. It is quite touristy but from your own yacht a unique experience.

Golf Sant'Amanza is a deep bay with limestone cliffs and at the end a beautiful sandy beach where we anchor in front of the beach. On the beach there is an opportunity for renting a surfboard or a catamaran for those who just want to actively play.
In the evening you can eat at a beach restaurant where they serve delicious food but of course you can also prepare a meal on board and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Rondinara is a great lunch stop when we sail to Porto-Veccio sail. This round bay has a fine white sandy beach and crystal clear turquoise water that immediately invites for a swim.

Porto-Veccio is an ancient fortified town at the end of the deep bay. You can anchor or if there is space enter in the modern marina. From the marina it is a 15 minute walk to the old town which is towering high above the marina.
In the old town there are many restaurants, shops and cultural things to see.

North of Porto-Veccio is a beautiful bay called Pinarellu. A fine white sandy beach with pine trees and some restaurants are waiting for your visit. Here we anchor at a depth of about 5 meters on a sandy bottom with excellent holding. The active sailors can go for a morning workout and jog and enjoy the beautiful nature and the view of the group flotilla yachts.

After a sailing trip of about 15 miles, we are back in the Maddalena archipelago where we anchor in Santa Maria, Budelli or another beautiful bay.

Then we sail for a few days along the Costa Smeralda and may possibly sail also south in the direction of the island Tavolara.
Of course depending on the weather we choose again a nice anchor bay for the night.

This 14 day cruise offers interesting opportunities for each and distances alternate between 10 and 25 miles.
In the months June, July, August and September we have fixed dates when we start.

Anchoring in Corse and Sardinia
Please note that most bays are used also by swimmers from the beach. It is therefore prohibited to go close to the beach with outboard engines. If you take the dinghy ashore, you row as much as possible in these areas.
