Sail along the Costa Brava or cross over to Mallorca

If you start a charter yacht in Barcelona, then a single trip to Mallorca is possible as well as a trip along the Costa Brava. Usually it is an extension of your vacation to the city itself.

Palamos, Platja d’Oro, St Feliu, L’Estartit, L’Escala and Ampuriabrava

The places mentioned here all have a harbor or a real marina (or both like in Palamos) with all modern facilities.
The landscape is attractive. When the weather is calm there are many small coves (calas) where you can anchor for a nice swim.

Aiguablava, Sa Tuna, Sa Riera and Montgo

These are beautiful bays to anchor but you cannot spend the night here because the larger bays are not protected from the prevailing Tramontane wind and are full of small boats.

Cadaques

The home of Salvador Dalí for a long time - is one of the best places to visit and anchor. A MUST on the list of places to visit. You can go there in the summer, but just like everywhere else in the Western Mediterranean, it is a bit busier in August.

Barcelona is close by and this is a pleasant area near the city with 4 million inhabitants. The dominant passion of the Spaniards is small motor yachts.

NEW sailing in 2020 from Roda de Bara, near Tarragona

Discover the beautiful Costa Dorada. Even in high season it is not busy there and you can go anywhere in the ports! The wadden region around the Ebro is not far away and is certainly worth a visit. There you can eat the best mussels and shrimps!
