Our main ports for yachtcharter

Sailing in the Kornati national park.

North and Central Dalmatia
This is the area with the widest range of yacht rentals in Europe, offering the giant Sukosan Marina Dalmatia, south of Zadar itself. Closer to the continental highway system than Split and a convenient location for a cruise through the famous Kornati islands, this is one of Europe's most beautiful sailing areas, located just one hour from Split airport from the new motorway. Our main bases are: Zadar, Biograd and Sukosan.

Explore the Kornati archipelago off the central Croatian coastline, protected as a National Park with over 100 islands and islets.

Zadar is a medieval city of great beauty and the marinas are part of it. Zadar provides easy access to the national park of the Kornati islands and Sukosan. The range of available yachts is slightly less but still extended.

Sukosan

itself has little special to appear outside the huge marina which has the largest charter yacht fleet in a single location in Europe. A large offer is the biggest plus. The village lies a few kilometres away from the marina. There are also some nice restaurants on the route.

Biograd is much more fun than Sukosan and is our preferred base in the region. Although not specifically part of the Zadar region, a search in our area Zadar gives some other bases that can be easily reached from either airport Zadar and Split. These are: Sibenik, Primosten and Murter Island.

All three provide excellent access to the Kornati National Park and offer a range of yachts which is similar to what you find elsewhere in Croatia. It is best to fly to Split or Zadar.
